Claude Mail Connector is a private personal utility used by its owner.
The application accesses Gmail data only after a user explicitly grants permission through Google OAuth.
Depending on the permissions granted, the application may access email messages, threads, message metadata, and attachments in order to perform user-requested Gmail operations.
Google user data is used only to perform actions explicitly requested by the authorized user, such as searching for or reading email.
Gmail information requested through the local MCP integration may be provided to Claude Code and processed by Anthropic as necessary to answer the user's request. Google user data is not sold or used for advertising.
OAuth credentials are stored locally using the user's computer or operating system credential storage where supported. The connector does not operate a separate commercial database of Gmail content.
Users can revoke the application's Google account access at any time through their Google Account security settings.
